PARTNERS
The CSIR is the implementing partner for the Municipal Capability & Partnership Programme (MCPP). The Programme was initiated by Anglo American, emanating from a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Cooperative Governance (DCoG) to strengthen municipal governance capability. The Programme is made possible through the commitment from Anglo American, Kumba Iron Ore, De Beers and their related sites, namely Sishen, Kolomela and Venetia mines, as well as the active involvement and collaboration of participating municipalities and other partners such as Provincial CoGHSTA’s, DBSA, MISA, SALGA and the Minerals Council etc.
