We manage to engage information in helping to improve our water quality.

The change is the importance of site visiting the infrastructure of the municipality because I observe they are more challenges on site and supervisors don’t report all.

I have definitely seen a change in people’s spirits, [and] wanting to do better, especially in service delivery. My main prayer now is that the municipality itself would empower these departments with the tools to actually do their job better and quicker. I stopped being scared by asking help from the private sector.

Being a first-time councillor is scary, you don’t know your fellow councillor. Through this program I got to know my fellow councillors better, which led to us working together more frequently on portfolios. I have also gained a lot of knowledge on different departments.

Together we can do more for our community.
