Through ongoing engagement, collaboration, and strategic alignment, the stakeholders that are part of the Gamagara-Tsantsabane Mining Region Compact continues to strengthen a shared regional vision for inclusive economic transition and resilience. As partners work together to address regional challenges and opportunities, such ongoing compacting provides a platform for coordinated action, as well as long-term planning, for collective impact at scale.
As momentum continues to build, the regional transition pathways and enabling environment is shaped by municipal, government and industry leadership and processes through a range of formal and informal processes and instruments. For more on this, see here.
To support the various role players in communicating the urgency and window of opportunity for action in the region, the MCPP has developed a short video. It also showcases the importance of regional collaboration and planning, highlights key activities and partnerships, and reflects on the emerging impact of the Compacting process and strategy. The video is intended as a catalyst for engagement: encouraging stakeholders to spark conversations, align efforts, and mobilise action around a shared vision for the region’s future.
